Hello there! And welcome to SoftwareAccountant.Com – the authentic place to learn technology in the world of business.

My name is Abarika Abdulai, the man behind this blog. As an enthusiast of enterprise software and technologies, I often see how people are struggling with technology in the world of business.

That’s why I started Software Accountant as a personal blog to simplify the complex stuff.

So here at SoftwareAccountant.com, my focus is to help accountants and small businesses improve their career and business with the knowledge of powerful accounting and business software.

However, my main focus is on Microsoft Excel!

Yes, I write on other business software (including QuickBooks, Sage, and Tally.ERP 9), but Excel is my main focus.

Excel dominates my mind because most of the content on this blog was inspired on problems I ran into when I was first learning to become a Microsoft Excel Developer, and I have continued to expand it based on new challenges and capabilities.

When I first start to learn Excel, I felt duty-bound to take online courses and read books to help me become familiar with this software.

There was something common in almost all the courses and books I explored on this topic: they all tried to cover every single feature there is about Excel, but never really concentrate deeply on the important stuff.

This isn’t right. Excel is a one size fits all software. Whoever you are, and wherever you are coming from, Excel has features packed just for you.

Therefore, it is left for you to filter out the tools that would really make your on-site time more effective.

That’s why I choose to ride with Excel in the world of business.

Excel is overwhelmingly popular in the business world. Despite its popularity, few people know how to take advantage of its cool features to solve business problems.

This blog, plus the resources I recommend, will teach you how to use Excel’s tools to solve real-world problems, whilst avoiding the obscure options that aren’t worth the trouble to learn.

Who is this blog for?

You don’t have to be an experienced Excel user to use the content on this blog – it is made for users of all level.

This blog provides solutions to problems that Excel users face every day as well as some that may come along less frequently.

I try my best to optimize my articles for users who need to solve problems now, not learn lots of theory first.

While some reference/tutorial sites or books can teach general concepts, they do not generally provide the help you need in solving real-world problems.

I choose to teach by example, the best way for most people to learn.

Most of the problems addressed here are frequently faced by Excel users, but some are more advanced problems and therefore call for more intricate solutions that combine many techniques.

But don’t worry because I create my solutions to help you quickly understand the problem, learn how to solve it, and find out any potential trade-offs or ramifications to help you solve your problems quickly, efficiently, and with minimal effort.

I hope that my blog will help you get past some of the common (and not-so-common) pitfalls and questions everyone has when learning this software for the first time, exploring its full capacity.

I am very proud of the work I put on this website, meanwhile, I’m also very happy to have you to be part of it.
