Australian Sounding Text to Speech Voices (Male and Female)

I’ve generated some demo Australian sounding Text to Speech Voice (Male and Female) for your perusal. Play the MP3/mp4 audio to listen. After listening to this demo voice, you may like to generate and download your own. I will show you how to do that using one of the best natural-sounding text-to-speech software.

How to Generate Australian Text to Speech Male or Female Voices In 3 Clicks

There are two main ways to use TTS to generate or convert your text scripts into downloadable mp3 audio files.

We have the Paid and Free Text-to-Speech convertors.

Without any further ado, let’s cover each one of these to see how it works.

Best Text to Speech Software (Paid)

When watching a video, you know that few things are more annoying than a terrible audio sound, bad volume and you struggle to get what is being said…

But even WORSE! Text to Speech Voice!

Those terrible Text to Speech audios on videos sound fake, emotionless, robotic and cheap! That makes me hit the Back Button every time.

What do we normally do if we don’t have a nice voice for our own or our client’s videos?

We pay somebody to do it for us, and that isn’t cheap!

You will know what I’m talking about if you’ve ever tried to create Voice-overs for your videos, and you’ve likely discovered that:

👉 Freelance Voice-over Artists are expensive

👉 It can take days for them to deliver

👉 ‘Text to Speech’ sounds like a lifeless Robot

There was no real alternative… UNTIL NOW!

The Speechelo Text To Speech Converting Software.

Speechelo is the incredible new Text to Speech software that actually sounds like Real People with pauses, tone, inflection – so much so that it’s hard for you to tell that it’s not a Real Person.

With Speechelo, you can easily make Listeners believe it’s a real human talking.

In just a few clicks you can have natural sounding Voice-overs for your videos, podcasts, audio books, and more.

It’s available at an incredible low price if you are quick.

However, if you don’t mind how your Text-to-Speech voices sound, there are also free tools that will do the job for you.

Free Text-to-Speech Software

Free is awesome. Especially when that free is giving you what you need. As at now, unfortunately, there are less of free Text-To-Speech tools available. And the few available are not so awesome. That’s why I recommend considering some small investment to generate professional text to speech voices.

With that being said, in this section, I want to list for you a go-to collection of some of the available Free TTS resources that will help you out if you are not ready to generate realistic TTS voices or invest in a paid service.

Note: The Text to Speech software I used to generate these Australian TTS Voices are none of the ones stated below. If you need Text to Speech MP3 with natural voices, consider checking out this one.

1. Balabolka (Desktop Text to Speech Application)

Balabolka sounds like a weird name. However, it is very useful Text to Speech Voice generating software when you are looking for something free.

By default, Balabolka TTs comes with SAPI 4 complete with eight different voices to choose from, SAPI 5 with two Voices, or the Microsoft Speech Platform. Whichever route you choose, you can adjust the speech, pitch, and volume of playback to create a custom voice for you.

With this free tool, you can save the TTS narrations as audio files like MP3 and WAV.

So, if free is something you want, Balabolka is your own to utilize.

2. Natural Reader (Online Text to Speech Software)

This is another free online TTS Software that can be used in couple of ways.

One way is to upload your documents into the system to read them loud for you. The number of supported files is good and can help manage multiple files very easily.

It also has the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature that gives you the power to load up scanned documents or pictures with text, and have it read everything to you.

Another useful way to work Natural reader is using the floating toolbar feature, which allows you to select text in any webpage or application and use the toolbar controls to play the selected text aloud. This feature is more useful in web browsers and text editors.

3. Panopreter Basic (Desktop Text to Speech Voice Generator)

This software is amazing as free software. It is one of the best free Text to Speech software. It works with plain and rich text, web pages, and MS Word documents as inputs, and generates the resulting sound in both MP3 and Wave file format.

Panopreter has both free and paid versions. So, if you want to go beyond the free features for something in advance, the premium version is available. The pro version offers some additional features such as a toolbar for Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer, the ability to select text currently being read, and some extra cool voices.

4. WordTalk Extension (Microsoft Word Plugin)

This is a Microsoft Word extension that adds customizable text-to-speech feature to your MS Word document. WordTalk works with all MS Word editions and you can access it through the ribbon.

WordTalk is fairly basic but it does support a couple of voices which can be customized to your satisfaction.

5. Zabaware Text-to-Speech Reader (Desktop Text to Speech Voice Generator)

Zabaware TTS has a very basic look. But despite that, it has more to offer than some basic software.  To generate voices with this tool, you have the option to either load numerous file formats directly into the program or just copy the text and paste it.

This tool when running and relevant option enabled, can read out loud any text you copy the clipboard. This feature of Zabaware is great if you want to listen to the text on web pages.

The downside of this software is that the selection of voices is limited unless you are willing to invest a small fee, and the only settings you can customize are the volume and speed of the audio.

Conclusion

This page was meant to show you some of the cool Australian sounding Text to Speech Male voices available in one of the best TTS software in the market which is not free. That’s why I went ahead to list some of the best free tools that can help you generate mp3 voices simply from text.
